We just shipped something a lot of you have been asking for: you can now fulfill Interac e-Transfer requests directly from your Neo account.
I’ll be honest — this isn’t a flashy, ground-breaking launch. It’s the kind of feature that doesn’t make for a big keynote moment, but makes everyday money stuff easier for a huge number of people. Rent splits, reimbursements, that friend who always “forgets” to pay you back — if you live on e-Transfer requests, this is super handy.
What you can do now
When someone sends you an Interac e-Transfer request, you can review and pay it from Neo.
We want your feedback
This is new, and we want to know how it feels in the real world:
Does it work the way you expected?
Anything still clunky?
Anything we should build next around e-Transfer?
Drop a reply here — good or bad. That’s how we prioritize what comes next.
How are you doing? I hope you’re enjoying your Summer.
RE transfers, I’ve been noticing that when I want to “Add funds” to my Savings account from a “Linked bank account”, I cannot postdate the transfers.
On future overseas trips I’m worried that on the dates that I want the transfers to occur, there is some issue accessing my Neo account, so it would be great if your team can look into the possibility of postdating transfers.
Cool feature idea! I would write it up in the Building Neo category so folks can vote on it. Be sure to include the business implications for Neo so it’s a little easier for our product team to understand and prioritize.
I have been with NEO Financial for a long time. I do not recall Neo Financial never having a e-transfer system. The system works just the same as every other Financial Institutuin.
