# Click Curiosity Got You? Here’s What to Do 🖱️

It happens to the best of us! If you accidentally engaged with a suspicious tax link, don’t sweat it; just take these three quick steps:

1. Update your passwords for your CRA My Account and your primary email.
2. Alert your bank if any financial info was shared.
3. Report the incident to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

A quick response is your best defense. Stay calm, take action, and you’re back in control!

If you’ve accidentally clicked a link, don’t panic, just jump into action. Start by updating your CRA and email passwords, then give your bank a shout if you shared any info.

It really does happen to the best of us, scammers are getting way too good at this! Thanks for sharing those steps; it’s such a great reminder that acting fast is the best way to stay in control.
